Richard Boxall opens whooping 645 yard hole
 

Richard Boxall officially opened the 17th hole now measuring a whopping 645 yards from the Blue plates making it the longest in the South East of England.

Richard hosted a very entertaining Q&A session for members before officially opening the hole by hitting 6 drives off the new tee-box.  Most impressively all 6 balls landed within 10 yards of each other - the longest drive being 308 yards - the official longest drive record! What did Richard think of the course? - very impressed by the quality of the greens, the signature 6th hole quite unique and interesting, the finishing 18th a challenge.
