Swing into action on Saturday 21st June, by taking part in Gatton Manor’s unique promotion to establish the ‘LONGEST DRIVE on the LONGEST HOLE, on the LONGEST DAY COMPETITION’. See if you can out drive the current unbeaten record of 309 yards, set by Sky Sport Pundit and former tour professional, Richard Boxall.
In 2005, Gatton Manor extended its 17th hole to 645 yards making it the longest hole in the South East of England. Each year since, keen golfers from the surrounding counties visit Gatton Manor in an effort to break the current record.
Gatton Manor is offering, an overnight stay for two (including dinner bed and breakfast, plus two rounds of golf) for the individual golfer who can break the existing record and set a new one.
Entry is open to all members and Visitors who play a round on the day*. Those who are unable to play a full round, are welcome to join Gatton at the 17th tee between 12pm- 3pm to try their luck. In return a voluntary contribution to the Captain’s Charity (Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation) is requested.
