The Surrey Open is one of the oldest British golf tournaments which was first played in 1926 and has been won by some of the greats such as Neil Coles, Dai Rees and most recently in 2010 by Andrew Raitt.
Gatton Manor has been chosen to become home of the PGA Surrey Open Championship for three years - 2010 -2012 and is sponsored by Kronenbourg 1664.
The two day tournament will see 130 of the top regional professionals battle it out over 3 rounds to be crowned Surrey Open Champion.
Wednesday 27th June 2012 will see the first round of the Surrey Open for the top 130 PGA professionals in the south region. A cut will be made at the end of Wednesday’s play with the top 36 professional and ties progressing to the last day’s play which will consist of rounds 2 and 3. The winner will be crowned PGA Surrey Open Champion!
