Gatton Manor Appoints New Club Pro

 

Gatton Manor is delighted to announce the appointment of Max Newman as its new club Professional.

As an amateur Max achieved a handicap of plus two, played for the South of England, various county teams and was the winner of several amateur events. As a professional he has been the winner of 12 professional events including a Tommy Armour Tour event and two Open qualifying tournaments plus numerous top ten finishes. Max plays regularly on both the Jamega and EuroPro tours. Over the past year he has availed of the practice facilities at Gatton in preparation for such tournaments.
Max will be available to members and visitors for tuition and to help with all their golfing needs.

9th -10th August:  Jamega Pro Golf Tour

We at Gatton Manor are delighted to host a Jamega Pro Golf Tournament event on the 9th and 10th of August 2010.

The Jamega Tour has been established for six years, and is going from strength to strength. The tour is committed to developing professional tournament golf throughout the UK.  Each tournament is played over two days, with 18 holes being played each day in groups of two or three. This is a great opportunity to watch potential stars of the future as well as legends of the past play their golf.

Members of the public are invited to visit Gatton Manor on 09th / 10th August to follow the professionals as they compete on our challenging course.
